Hotel Secreto, Isla Mujeres

My stay at the hotel was a mix of highs and lows. The rooms were gorgeous and comfortably cool with AC, but some areas looked outworn, definitely not a 5-star standard. The service was warm and friendly, going above and beyond, although the housekeeping could be improved. The location was fantastic, with a semi-private beach and all the comforts one could want, just a short walk from the best beaches in Isla Mujeres. The dining experience had its ups and downs, with fresh but limited options. Overall, a good value for the money spent.

I had an amazing time at the hotel. The rooms, though they could have used a fresh paint job, were very spacious compared to other places in Mexico. They had a lovely garden view and were stocked well daily with useful amenities. The service was over the top accommodating, sweet, and friendly, making my stay truly special. The location couldn't have been better, being an oasis by the sea in Isla Mujeres. The dining experience, though good with Italian products, could have been better, given the level of the hotel. Overall, a great experience that I highly recommend.

Staying at this hotel was an absolute delight! The rooms had a very nice and clean style, were spacious, well-equipped, beautifully decorated, and so comfy. The ocean view and terrace for breakfast and relaxation were top-notch. The service was exceptional, acting like a concierge throughout my stay, providing tremendous help and always greeting me warmly. The location was perfect, offering a sense of peace and luxury with easy access to the main streets, though the air conditioning was a bit too high at times. The dining experience was really nice, with room service delivering delicious meals. The facilities were fantastic, especially the private access to a quiet beach.
